Ngarrindjeri Media - handover

October 27, 2013 Carl Kuddell

2013 October - Meningie SA

Advice: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander viewers are advised that this website and video links may contain images and voices of people who have died.

The Change Media team worked with the participants and representatives from the Ngarrindjeri Regional Authority to handover all video footage accumulated over the last 5 years of our media collaboration with Ngarrindjeri.

Over three days the Ngarrindjeri participants and NRA support staff worked through over 4 TeraByte library of video footage and photos, from 2009 to 2013. Our team facilitated a tailored library system for the Ngarrindjeri to use on future projects.

As part of our handover, the team also stepped through a complete training process of planning their first standalone project with the Department of Water, about the Meningie Foreshore Restoration, including developing a client brief, proposal, shortlist. The team set up their own production plan and researched the locations for their shoot scheduled for this summer.

All our Ngarrindjeri training toolkit videos feature our Digital Media Toolkit.

Big thanks to the team at the Wilderness Lodge for supporting us!
