Anti-Binge Drinking Campaign 2 2013 October - Leeton NSW
The Change Media team returned to Leeton Shire in 2013 for the second collaborative workshop on the topic of binge drinking, as part of the Leeton Shire Council’s Bidgee Binge campaign, supported by the Australian Government. The aim for the 4-day workshop was to co-create a series of TV commercials for WIN TV to compliment the "That Guy" TVC created during the last workshop.
Part two of this two year project was a huge success, creating not single commercial but filming three videos! After brainstorming a wide range of ideas as a group, the best concepts were reduced down to their core messages and feasibility of filming. This approach allowed us to have three storyboard ready by the end of the first day, one commercial was filmed on each of the remaining days. Whilst last time the we mainly used our Canon 5D Mk3, this year we opted to use our Sony high speed camera to allow the magical slow motion that is seen in our "slow down your drinking" TVC.
The three TVC's launched on WIN TV on the Channel 9 network across the NSW Riverina region 2013-2014 and at the Bidgee Binge public events in the Leeton Shire region.
