Competitors
Power & privilege: compete / sacrifice
This gang are highly competitive, over-achievers, believing competition is a desirable value. They define what it is to be a 'team player', then push others to behave accordingly, and often get angry when their values are challenged, believing they have 'sacrificed' themselves for the team.
Disrupt: How do you contribute?
Reframe: How can we support self-determination?
Larrikin: I love jumping into the unknown and learn as I go. I push the limits and goad people on, they love it. They are intrigued by my unpredictably, and being seen as a risk-taker advances my career and networking opportunities.
Spokesperson: I speak up, I represent and summarise for others. Occasionally I may overshadow, but I sing praise for the good work done, and can silence inappropriate comments and difficult conversations.
Nostalgist: I have the wisdom to play devil’s advocate and point out alternatives. I use anecdotes from my vast experience to highlight how modernity has gone awry. I demand more, and often heckle to keeps everyone on their toes. We shouldn't forget the past, I not afraid to say what's happening now is not good enough.
Medalist: I strive for excellence and work tirelessly to win awards. To strive is to demand more and extend everyone's boundaries. It can be exhausting, but I am known for being a stickler for high standards.
Donor: I am truly a team player, and often people take that for granted. They accuse me of controlling the spaces I inhabit and being passive-aggressive, and this hurts as I work so hard for the group.
